Purchasing Licensing for an Arrangement

1. If you are commissioning Tyler to write custom arrangements or purchasing Tyler’s previously performed custom arrangements, the purchasing director must secure "permission to arrange" from the copyright holder of each piece, whether commissioning us to write custom arrangements or purchasing one of our previous custom arrangements. These may be secured through Tresona Music Licensing (tresonamusic.com), or the licensing company of your choice.

2. If applying for permission with Tresona, they will contact Tyler Ono (arranger) directly as the approval process proceeds. When the approved permissions are paid by the director, Tyler will be notified by Tresona directly. If applying for permission with a different licensing company, or directly from the copyright holder(s), the director must forward the permission documents to Tyler when completed.

3. After Tyler receives the confirmation license, we will send an invoice to the ensemble for the arrangement fee.

4. After payment is completed, Tyler will upload the arrangements. to the Tresona site, and they will forward it to you. If using a different licensing company, Tyler will send the arrangement(s) to the director.
